WELCOME!

the new NYC Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training.

NYC C.R.A.F.T. is a forum for folks who work in urban agriculture to network and visit and learn from other farmers in NYC. Once a month one of our farms holds a workshop for everyone to attend, with topics ranging from tomato pruning to farming ergonomics.

Last year we started taking our farm apprentices on field trips to other farms and invited other nyc farm workers along. We came up with the name FLUFF (Friends & Lovers of Farmers Fraternizing). Evidently that was a little confusing for some folks, so we have decided to just call it really what it is.... CRAFT.

We decided it was time enough to have an official web presence, so here we are (plus a Facebook). We are just getting everything set up; so please stay tuned for more information.

If you would like to join or sponsor a workshop please sign up HERE

For now these workshops will ONLY be open to folks who work on, intern, apprentice or run Urban Farms in NYC. It's not that we dont love all our volunteers and community gardeners, but we want a space for small technical workshops and networking together.
